Has Your Computer Crashed? - Here's How You Can Fix It

A computer is simply an amazing machine that can make our life easier and faster. But as with all things, your computer is far from being a perfect creation. Sometimes you find that your computer crashes, and chances are it has probably happened to you before more than once. Now you ask, what causes my computer to crash, and how can I fix it?
The truth is there are many reasons that can cause computer to crash. It could have been caused by errors within the Windows operating system as some of the most common errors happen with software, but it is also possible that you can get hardware errors as well.

But what exactly are the roots of these errors? One probable cause is the improper cleaning procedure of the hardware components. Your PC components begin to age straight away and can start to fail in time. For example some components inside such as the RAM or the CPU may overheat. If this happens, they will fail completely and your PC will crash. Of course, there are fans inside to cool each part, however, these fans are prone to dust and other tiny particles and in time, the fan itself gets clogged and overheats as well.
If this is the case, all you have to do is take the casing off and carefully clean the components. Do not blow into the hardware as this may cause you to spit a little or sneeze all over the hardware. This could worsen your problem with your PC. Keeping your computer hardware clean is one way to help solve your crashing problems. But what if the problem persists?

In case cleaning isn't enough, then the problem may be of more serious origin. Your computer may crash due to hard disk errors. Some sectors in your hard disk may have become damaged or corrupted and when you access a file that lies in these bad sectors your system will crash. As time goes by, your system will develop more bad sectors. If you think this is the case, you may want to do a disk error check first. How to check errors depends on the operating system you use. But if you do detect errors, the best thing to do is buy a new hard disk. Make sure that you back up all your files on a removable drive or DVD so that if you encounter this problem, you don't have to worry about losing all your important files.

Another cause of a computer crashes is a corrupted windows registry. Your system's registry accumulates junk files and entries form continuous use. As the registry grows, your computer will have a hard time accessing relevant files in the registry. In time, your PC will begin to function very slowly and crash on several occasions. The best thing you can do is to obtain a good registry cleaner to get rid of those unwanted files in the registry. It is easy to find a good registry cleaner online, just make sure that the one you choose has a backup and restore feature.
