Technology has a way of making its way into our lives and becoming a part of our everyday routines without our even noticing it. It sneaks its way in, at first, it's a novelty, something that early adapters, aka nerds and technogeeks rave about, and then bit by bit, we've all been bitten so to speak, and before you know it, everyone's twittering this or tumblring that or apping relentlessly from their iPhones. It seems we are technology bound; there's no escape. Even in the most remote parts of the Bolivian salt flats, someone somewhere is wired up to the hilt, sending off emails and electronic post-it notes to other equally wired recipients in far lands.
The next wave of technology is making its way into our midst. This time it's 4G that promises to change the world as we know it. So what is this beast we call 4G? It's basically the latest generation of telephony, that is cellular telephony. It's an upgrade from the current 3G and the older 2G standards. With this latest incarnation, cell phone users will be able to do a whole lot more than they were able to do before. Essentially, with 4 generation technology, data speeds will be upgraded and expanded. Data networks and roaming networks will be improved and the term anytime, anywhere will actually mean anytime, anywhere. Call dropping and dead zones will be a thing of the not so distant past. Perhaps, however, what will be the biggest change, no doubt, is that wireless internet will be even more prominent.
This basically translates to users being able to be wired wherever they go. There won't be any data network relapses, where internet users find themselves in the middle of a metaphorical pickle as their wireless suddenly goes out, without so much as a word or a wink of warning.
The end result is that people will be able to connect with friends in far away countries and distant lands at another level. There won't be so much of a gap, so you can get more things done in less time; efficiency is where it's at and this can be such a wonderfully good things as we are all busy enough in these modern times.
Given the fact that people are usually rampant slaves to their desks and cubicles, this new wireless internet phenomena will have many office workers rejoicing at the thought of being freed from their ergonomic office desk seat chains. Instead of having to trudge to the office just to get things done, more and more people can actually work from anywhere and I mean anywhere. The new internet will be available in so many more locations than you could imagine. It's like an umbrella covering the entire world. More and more countries are jumping on board the bandwagon and changing their communications systems to accommodate this new technology. This revolution will make a huge difference.
