Make sure your iPod is a Virus
Certainly, when you download a song, video or gem you iPod, some viruses are coming to your iPod. After September 2006 Number of Apple iPods have been sold with a Windows virus. Luckily for most mp3 and iPod users only a very small number of truly infected with this virus only affects Windows computers called RavMonE.exe virus. So, how do I check or remove this iPod virus?
Firstly, if you have your iPod connected to your computer and have the latest antivirus software installed this should automatically detect and clean your PC / iPod of any virus present, including ravmone.exe virus. IPod nano, shuffle and Mac OS are not affected by the latest iPod video are also guaranteed to be virus free.
First steps to check if your computer is infected or iPod to download a virus scanner (if you do not already installed), there are many free virus scanners available and most new computers already have this installed automatically. In 99% of your iPod will be virus free, but it's still best to check. Just connect your iPod to your computer and run a virus scan.
Antivirus software will then perform the checks and notify you of any viruses that reside on your PC / iPod. After the removal of any viruses you should use the very latest version of iTunes software installed on your iPod. Ravmone.exe virus is attracted to storage devices and you should also scan all storage devices on your computer just to be sure.
With antivirus, you can download everything you want and protect your iPod from viruses and other annoying things at the same time. Do not worry about those viruses, because they will not find a way to your iPod.
